In Development
Gina G. Goff is producing the original period/drama/historical/adventure television series The Rebel Queen, created and written by Giorgio Serafini. Giorgio has decades of experience as a writer/director and series showrunner starting out making art house films in Europe, he then began directing one of the most successful Italian TV series of all time, Orgoglio, and continued directing several popular series for many years. Since then Giorgio has written and/or directed 20 feature films and worked with actors such as Roy Scheider, William Shatner, Christopher Lloyd, Wesley Snipes, Keith Carradine, Dolph Lundgren, Vinnie Jones, Jean Smart, Billy Zane and Esai Morales. He has directed and/or written for companies such as CBS, Sony, Voltage Pictures, Lionsgate. Among those films is the feature-length documentary about the deported Without Borders/Sin Frontiers. Giorgio was born in Brussels, Belgium from Italian parents and is now an American citizen living in Los Angeles with his wife actress/writer LaDon Drummond and their son.
The Rebel Queen is an original story of Queen Christina, who at the age of 6, succeeded her father King Gustav of Sweden. She was raised and educated as a royal male would have been, was coronated and began ruling as the King at the age of 18. She is remembered as one of the most educated women of the 1600s. She was intelligent, unorthodox and a tomboy. She was known to have relationships with both women and men, and caused a scandal when she decided not to marry. At times, Christina’s appearance was alarming as well as her unguarded freedom of conversation. She ultimately broke free, abdicated, left her country and changed her religion. Considered a traitor by most, she was one of the first women to successfully defy her destiny and embark on an adventurous quest in search of happiness.
This series has huge international appeal. It has the feel of The Tudors and Game of Thrones. The romance of Outlanders and raw violence of Vikings.
Log Line: The first modern Woman!
Gina G. Goff is producing the original comedy drama television series Palm Springs, created and written by Mike B. Metz. Mike is a television writer in Los Angeles whose writing talent has been represented on hit series shows Californication and The O.C. He recently sold a cable comedy pitch to Warner Horizon based on the lives of Million Dollar Listing’s James Harris and David Parnes. Earlier this year he wrote the pilot Urban Farmers for Comedy Central. Previously he sold projects to Universal TV, Nickelodeon, Sony TV, amongst others. Mike is repped by The Gersh Agency and Bloom Hergott.
Based on Mike’s experiences living with his recently-widowed grandfather, Palm Springs follows newly-minted bachelors, coming of (their vastly different) age. It’s a comedically honest look at what it’s like for a grandson and grandfather who don’t know each other, lamenting their pasts, living under the same roof. A buddy comedy - with a forty year age gap!
Log Line: A late twenty-something in the midst of a career and relationship crisis takes the only offer afforded him: move in with his recently widowed, estranged grandfather in Palm Springs.
Gina G. Goff is producing the crime drama feature film The Hunt, created, written and to be directed by Giorgio Serafini. Giorgio was born in Brussels, Belgium from Italian parents and is now an American citizen living in Los Angeles with his wife actress/writer LaDon Drummond and their son.
The Hunt is based on a true story. A different kind of serial killer finds refuge on a remote tropical island where American ex-pats like to hide from debts, taxes, justice or their own families back in the States. The killer's compulsive desires are justified by greed. No one seems to notice the disappearance of entire families until an ex-Marine starts noticing that not everything is peaceful in paradise.
This story already has a large public awareness of the horrific events that took place.
Log Line: A different kind of serial killer
