Murder One

Gina G. Goff is producing the action drama feature Murder One, written by Giorgio Serafini. Giorgio is an award-winning writer/director who most recently directed Senior Moment starring William Shatner, Jean Smart and Christopher Lloyd.
Jim Russmore is a man without options. He has been sentenced for robbery and multiple homicide during a bank heist. All the evidence is against him. He has escaped the courtroom and ultimately infiltrates a live talk show featuring his wife and his daughter and takes the audience hostage. He asks for Detective Maria Holden, one of the major witnesses against Jim during his trial, to prove his innocence. Maria doesn't believe a word Jim says, but decides to follow the leads in an attempt to buy some time while the SWAT team finds a way to neutralize the hostage taker. What Maria discovers will make of her Jim's best ally.
Logline: A hostage situation. A cry for justice. A race for freedom. A fight for the truth.
